The Importance of Health and Wellbeing

 
     
 

“19% of five year olds and a third of fifteen year olds in the UK are overweight, so there’s a real danger of our children becoming obese”. Ivillage.co.uk

Judi Linney, Director of Public Health, in her Report “Focus on Health Inequalities” identified the Ward of Maybury and Sheerwater as the highest risk area within SHAW PCT for Poor Health and Health Inequalities.

The partnership actively promotes healthy lifestyles and activities. Currently, we are actively involved with:
